This morning we got up at 9 and got ready to spend the morning out and about. We were picked up at 10 by a dude in his car and he drove us to Ron Waterfall Hot Springs. As the name suggests these were hot smal waterfalls. They were really nice to look at but the heat made them not so nice to sit in. We stayed for a while and then got out and sat in the sun to cool off.
We returned to the car after a bit and went to Sa Morakot Emerald Pool which wasn't as emerald as the name or brochures suggested. It was a natural pool on the middle of the jungle. It was pretty greeny but not as advertised. We floated about for a while and then trekked back through the jungle. It wasn't really that far but felt like ages.
It was about 70km to the pools and springs so took us about an hour to get back. We showered and then headed straight out to the immigration office to sort out an extension of our visa. Then we returned to to the hostel and chilled until about half 5 when we went out for dinner with the girl in our room.
After dinner we went to the hostel bar and competed in a beer pong tournament, winning one and losing one. Then we hung out and chatted and played pool until around midnight before retiring to bed.
