Today was our last day in Krabi and we had done most of the things that we had wanted to do. We lay in bed until about 12 before finally decided we needed to actually get up and do something. We got dressed and went to Swensen's, a ice cream parlour we had seen in multiple places around Thailand. I had chewy sticky chocolate icecream with chocolate fudge sauce and chocolate chips. Lauren had vanilla with caramel sauce and rainbow sprinkles. Mine was really nice. Then we went to Wat Kaew. It looked quite fancy from the outside but we couldn't actually go in as we were only wearing shorts and strap tops. We peered through the door though and it looked nice.
We returned to the hostel and bummed about until around 6 when we were going to go to the night market to get dinner. Only it started chucking it down. It was thundering and lightening was lighting up the sky. So instead we donned our raincoats and went to the nearest restaurant. Lauren had pizza and I had really nice fried pork with pepper and garlic, with rice. By the time we had finished it had just about stopped raining. We went back to the hostel where I packed my stuff as we are leaving tomorrow. The hostel has almost started feeling like home we've been here so long!
At 9pm we wandered down to the bar for a couple of games of beer pong (with water, neither of us actually drank anything). Then around half ten we went to bed.
